Bout Of Books Read-a-thon Wrap-Up

This has been my very first read-a-thon experience and I have to say that I could have done a lot better than I did. It has shown me that I do not manage my time very well and tend to procrastinate just as much as I did in highschool. I also can't seem to concentrate on reading when I'm not by myself and I only had three days with half the day alone. I am glad to have participated and had this experience, though. I will probably join in on any read-a-thons I come across in the future, especially since the goals and progress are entirely up to me.
I did not reach my goal of reading at least one book everyday but I did start 7 books and finish 6.
I did participate in the first Twitter chat.
I visited and followed a lot of new blogs and commented on some people's progress.

I also chose to read children's/middle-grade/YA books because May 13 -19 was Children's Book Week.

Peter Pan & Pippi Longstocking were not on my original to-read this week list but I wanted to reach my goal of at least 7 books for the week and they were each about 150+/- pages and that might be 'cheating' but at least I reached my goal by reading. Also, because it's Children's Book Week, I was glad to read them.
